Paul Williams is a Partner at Charhon Callahan Robson & Garza. His practice focuses on complex business disputes, investment and securities litigation, fiduciary duty and probate disputes, and bankruptcy recovery matters. Mr. Williams has represented a number of corporate clients including Fidelity Investments, American Airlines, the City of San Antonio, Zachry Construction, 7-Eleven, Nationstar d/b/a Mr. Cooper, ORIX Capital Markets, Hayman Capital, BearingPoint, Pilgrim's Pride, MediaTek, Inc., the City of San Francisco, Broward County, Florida, InFocus, Igloo, Celanese, and many others. He has also represented several high net worth individuals and families across Texas and the United States.

Mr. Williams received his B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin with high honors in both International Business and Finance, and his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas.

Mr. Williams lives in Houston with his wife, Ginger, and their two children.

Counsel for ORIX Capital Markets in a multi-billion-dollar litigation against UBS and Nomura regarding breaches of representations and warranties on commercial mortgage loans

Counsel for Freddie Mac in litigation against Deloitte over Deloitte’s role in the collapse of investment firm Taylor, Bean & Whitaker

Counsel for RMBS trustees in actions against Citigroup, JPMorgan, Nomura, WMC Mortgage, Merrill Lynch and Bank of America for breach of representations and warranties concerning billions of dollars in residential mortgage loans

Represented Brazos Electric Cooperative its dispute over hundreds of millions of dollars in interest-rate swap debt caused by the massive increases in energy costs resulting from Winter Storm Uri

Zachry Construction

Defended several Zachry entities against fiduciary duty and fraudulent transfer claims arising out of construction of a billion-dollar public-private partnership toll ro road in Central Texas

Cathexis

Represented Cathexis Royalties & Minerals in its adversary proceeding to recover unpaid oil and gas royalties from bankrupt entity Mesquite Energy

Buccaneer Energy

Helped the bankruptcy trustees of Buccaneer Energy recover millions of dollars of disputed claims for creditors

Assisted the O Centro Espirita Beneficiente Uniao Do Vegetal and its director in their successful pursuit of an exemption under the Religious Freedom and Restoration Act of 1993 to allow the importation and use of its religious sacraments
